Working together to save the CSU!

As part of the Alliance for the CSU, the California Faculty Association is working to stop budget cuts to the CSU. The proposed cuts ($386 million!) will (1) undermine California’s economy and undermine revenue to the state; (2) make it harder for students (especially already underserved populations) to get a college education; and (3) gut the state’s human infrastructure and undermine future growth.

We need your help! Sign up and let us know if you can send a fax, call an elected leader, or take other actions at key points during the budget process.

CFA is the exclusive bargaining representative for CSU faculty. Under state law, the CFA protects academic freedom and tenure; it negotiates contracts which guarantee your status as a professional, your rights to due process, to an honest and open salary system, and to health coverage and other benefits. The contract which CFA enters into with the CSU Trustees affects almost every area of your life as a faculty member.

We encourage you to join us!
